This is a full-time internship that requires a full-time student to be on premises in our Harrisburg office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Greenlee’s internship is paid, and interns will be paid overtime for extra hours worked. Participants also receive a parking space.

Greenlee Partners interns work closely with the partners and associates on a range of legislative, administrative, research, and project-oriented tasks. They will perform basic legislative duties, assist with the publishing of Harrisburg: ONLINE, compile reports, complete projects for staff, and provide routine administrative support to the office.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring and reporting on legislative hearings
  • Conducting legislative research
  • Analyzing legislation
  • Updating databases
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Attending events with staff
  • Recent graduates or highly qualified undergraduate or graduate students
  • Two years of college-level courses studying government, political science, business, communications, public administration, or internal affairs (open to other majors).
  • Strong writing abilities
  • Basic understanding of the U.S. political process
