  Veteran Pennsylvania Government Affairs Leader Announces New Chapter
  
  Kara Beem, senior associate, celebrates close of 15 years at Greenlee Partners
  
  HARRISBURG, Pa. – Greenlee Partners today announced the decision by longtime government affairs leader Kara Beem to leave the firm to pursue new opportunities.
  
  Beem has been with the Greenlee for 15 years and has been a leader in the Pennsylvania government relations field for well over two decades. With the recent passage of the latest state budget, she said the time is right for a change.
  
  “I’ve been fortunate to have led several successful public affairs campaigns that have resulted in meaningful legislation for my clients and for Pennsylvania families, workers, businesses and taxpayers,” Beem said. “Today, I celebrate those wins and look forward to this exciting new chapter in my career.”
  
  Beem joined Greenlee in 2007 after previously serving as general counsel and legislative director of another Pennsylvania lobbying firm. She earned her J.D. from Dickinson School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Trinity College. She also serves as treasurer of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber Board of Directors.
